Made with the best materials available, our lapboards are engineered using a high-density wood backer and are coated with a UV protected writing surface. This is important because our lapboards erase easily and never ghost when cared for properly. The surface can be reused time and again with very little effort or "elbow grease" -- great for younger children. Don't be fooled by inferior lapboards made from shower board, as these easily ghost and have a short shelf life.
The 9" x 12" size offers up a generous writing surface that's still small enough to travel comfortably in a backpack or knapsack. For home or remote learning, our boards are big enough for students to work out a problem and hold up their answers from a distance or share via a remote conference call.
Featuring bull-nosed edges and rounded corners for added safety, our wooden boards are smooth and safe for use by children of all ages. And the backside is protected by a moisture barrier so if left in a humid environment our lapboards will not warp.
